Mainframe Technology Lead

Infosys is seeking a Mainframe Scheduling Lead - In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development and maintenance activities . You will play an important role in enterprise release support and maintenance support. You will also deliver high quality deliverables , lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology
• Experience with Mainframe technology .
• Good knowledge of ESP/CA7 Scheduling and Endevor

Understanding of telecom Domain

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in mainframe scheduling function
• Experience in Scheduling tools ESP and CA7 and administration tasks in scheduling
• Experience in Mainframe code management tool Endevor and its administration
• Experience in JCL and working in production support roles

Primary Skills:

• Mainframe ESP and CA7 Scheduler Administration
• Mainframe WLN Endevor Administration
• Mainframe JCL

Secondary Skills:

• Mainframe COBOL and DB2

Responsibilities:

ESP Scheduling:
1. Support schedule changes for various business initiatives
2. Enterprise release support, maintenance support, infrastructure changes, and DR/BC exercises
3. Manage ESP symbolic variables/schedules for 7 day billing cycles
4. On call support to support all scheduling issues

WLN ENDEVOR Administrator
1. WLN ENDEVOR software configuration management tool
2. Releases, infrastructure changes, and DR/BC exercises
3. Support tickets such as approver group, mapping rules, new system, path, ship job concerns, and storage

CA7 Scheduling:
1. WLS batch scheduling requirements
2. WLS ENDEVOR production software installs
3. Enterprise release support, maintaince activities support , infrastructure changes, and DR/BC exercises
4. On call support to support all scheduling issues

• Experience and understanding of Production support and performance engineering.
• Experience in batch and online debugging.
• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
