Maintenance Electrician

Southwark Metal Manufacturing Companyis hiring an experiencedMaintenance Electricianfor our facility inNortheastPhiladelphia, PA. Pay: $24-$26/hr depending on experience. Guaranteed raises at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months of employment. Schedule: We have one opening and are open to candidates interested in any of the following shifts. However,second shift is preferred. • First Shift: 7A-3:30P; Monday-Friday • Second Shift: 3:30P-2A; Monday-Thursday What you’ll be doing: • Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and electrical systems. • Working with 120V, 240V, and 480V systems, including wiring, motors, circuit breakers, and control panels. • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, online diagrams, and blueprints. • Installing and servicing electrical conduit, switches, and equipment. • Performing preventative maintenance tasks to keep equipment running reliably. • Diagnosing breakdowns and responding to equipment issues to minimize downtime. • Using computers and maintenance software to document work and access technical information. What we need: • 1–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent technical training. • Hands-on experience with schematics, wiring, circuit breakers, and control panels. • Familiarity with 120V and 240V electrical systems. • Ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical diagrams. • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills. • Working knowledge of hand and power tools. • Ability to work independently and safely in a manufacturing environment. • Basic computer skills for documentation and troubleshooting.
