Maintenance Electrician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment in a variety of settings, including commercial and construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, high voltage work, and the ability to read blueprints. The Maintenance Electrician will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards while performing renovations, repairs and installing new equipment. Responsibilities • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment not limited to control panels, robotics, industrial machines, etc. • Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters. • Renovate existing electrical installations to meet current codes and standards. • Read and interpret blueprints to understand electrical layouts and specifications. • Work on high voltage systems safely and effectively. • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently. • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. • Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations throughout all work performed. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience as a commercial electrician or in a similar role. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques. • Familiarity with high voltage systems is preferred. • Proficient in using testing equipment such as ohmmeters and voltmeters. • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately. • Experience working in an Aerospace manufacturing facility . • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
