Key Responsibilities:

• Preventative Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various challenging electro-mechanical systems in a distribution center environment. Primarily automated MDR conveyor systems.
• Provide electrical, mechanical, & automation support for all facility systems & equipment including but not limited to conveyors (IntelliQ), ASRS, spiral conveyors (Ambaflex) freezers, coolers, HVAC (Trane ), air compressors (Ingersol-Rand ), generators (Kohler), box erectors (WexXar), auto box erectors (Seal Air I PACK), printers, strappers (Stra-Pac), wrappers, (Lantech), belt extenders (FMH), dock lifts, lift trucks (Crown), battery inter-changer (BHS), bailers, compactors, fire protection, electrical breakers and other automated technologies.
• Demonstrate skills in all phases of facility maintenance including electrical troubleshooting.
• Self-starter in new equipment learning, and training & ability to lead preventative maintenance efforts.
• Communicate with and maintain effective relationships with service contractors & vendors.

Shift Details: Monday - Friday 12 noon till closing 8pm

• Applicants must have flexibility with work hours & days, including holidays & short notice call-in.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of related experience

Critical Requirements:

• 1 + years of MDR Conveyor preventive maintenance & troubleshooting experience.
• At least 1+ years of electrical, mechanical & automation troubleshooting of MDR/Spiral conveyor systems, HVAC, freezer, refrigeration, strapper, wrapper & printer experience.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC conveyor controls with relay logic microprocessor controls.
• Proven ability to read & understand electrical, mechanical & automation schematics is required.
• Experience with and ability to train others in LOTO and OSHA regulations.
• Proven ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with site work contractors.
• Proven ability to learn quickly & address issues as they arise during work hours or when on call.
• Applicants must have flexibility with work hours & days, including holidays & short notice call-in.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with facilities, vendors, and operations IT teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of the NEC and light electrical construction experience is desired
• Windows XP/Windows 7 and Maintenance Connect work order experience is preferred.

Education:

• Associate degree, trade school certification, or verifiable training in a relevant technical field.

Physical Requirements:

• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general & roof ladder, scissor lift, & fork truck used to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to carry and operate a laptop & handheld device.
• Must be willing to work various hours in a 24/7 operational warehouse.

$19.23 - $32.05
