Manager, AI Software Quality Assurance

Job Introduction:

At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization company specializing in delivering life-changing medicines to patients. We are seeking a Manager, AI Software Quality Assurance to join our growing AI Labs team. In this role you will oversee the entire continuum of software quality assurance processes and team.

Who we are looking for:

Driven individuals with proven experience working closely with cross functional teams, including software engineers, ML/NLP engineers, product managers, and AI specialists to evaluate, implement, and maintain best practices in software quality assurance, testing, and continuous improvement, ensuring our AI integrated software products, ML/NLP models, and use of AI models, meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. That possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills while demonstrating impeccable communication skills.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and mentor a growing software quality team to deliver best in-class results.
• Oversee software quality process, leading continuous process improvement to align with rapidly evolving industry, striving for optimized effectiveness and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough reviews of AI model outputs and ensure alignment with expected results.
• Develop and oversee the execution of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for AI integrated software.
• Implement automated testing frameworks when suitable.
• Generate and report quality metrics, test results, and status reports to stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with product, development, and executive teams on quality related matters.

Additional details:

7-10+ years of experience in software quality assurance role, with at least 2 years in a leadership and management role, 2 years of experience in AI/ML is required. Proven experience managing software quality projects for AI integrated software solutions and experience building software and AI QA teams from the ground up. Solid knowledge of software quality operating procedures and SOP development and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitHub. Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as presentation skills are paramount. Education to degree level in engineering, computer science, or other relevant qualification/experience.
