**This position is an onsite role based out of our Vancouver, BC office. **
About you
You have a strong interest in taking initiative and driving improvements, with a passion for planning and customer service. This position interacts with employees across all business lines and varying levels of seniority, playing an integral part of our client and employee experience in the office. Colliers Canada comprises of six business units (Brokerage, REMS, Capital Markets, Project Management, Valuations and Strategy & Consulting), and five shared services functions (IT, Marketing, Research, Finance, and People Services).
This position manages office operations, facilities management and special projects/events in both Colliers Vancouver and our surrounding British Columbia offices (Surrey, Vancouver Island, and Kelowna). Leading a team of 4, this is a position driving client satisfaction and office comradery, also providing efficient solutions to streamline our day to day functions.
In this role, you will...

Oversee the overall management of office, business operations and logistics, including planning and coordinating for quality and cost effectiveness of services and support

Strengthen relationships with key suppliers/vendors; regular review of contractual obligations, service level agreements, cost optimization opportunities

Design and implement new strategies for continuous process improvement, including documentation and mapping

Track invoices and expenses. – ability to temperature check anomalies including appropriate follow-ups and due diligence
-
Proactively oversees all property and related items: point person and Landlord liaison, resolving all escalated issues in relation to facilities, maintenance, and security
-
Manage and execute Fire Safety and Evacuation planning, including training and internal communication.

Operational management of shared office equipment and supplies such as printers, coffee machine, and AV equipment

Project management of office-wide engagement events

Drive team goal settling, providing support and guidance by establishing procedures and defining objectives

Evaluate team strengths and abilities through performance management process
What you'll bring
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred; equivalent experience may also be considered
-
5+ years of people management and leadership experience, including coaching, training, and mentoring team members
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with a diverse group at all levels of the
organization -
Confident decision making and negotiation abilities
-
Strong attention to detail, highly organized and dependable, with strong ability to prioritize and follow-up,
including being flexible and adapt to work effectively in changing situations -
Ability to plan and prioritize projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines
Approximate Salary Range for Role: $85,000 to $105,000 per annum.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
