Manager, Cath Lab

Manage daily operations and activities of the Cath labs and/or interventional vascular labs. Assist and direct staff to perform their duties efficiently and productively with patient satisfaction the number one priority. Perform staff evaluations, coaching and counseling sessions. Assess and maintain competency of staff as related to job descriptions. Promote a supportive environment that encourages teamwork. Assists Director with planning, management of department and evaluation and purchase of capital equipment. Maintains supply level, to include ordering of supplies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to direct the services appropriate for patient/family population being served. Integrates the department services with the hospitals’ primary functions.
• Shows success in developing a strategic directional course if his/her department (s) which coincides with Norton Healthcare’s overall strategic plan as well as new applications and systems essential to business directions
• Performs the overall administrative and clinical (if appropriate) direction and management of their department (s), this leader facilitates the development and delivery of excellence in service practice by evaluation and coordinating the services delivered.

Required:

• With Required Bachelor's Degree: Three years as a registered nurse practicing at the bedside in Invasive Cardiology or in cardiovascular critical care
• With Associates Degree: Five years as a registered nurse practicing at the bedside in Invasive Cardiology or cardiovascular critical care
• Without Bachelor's Degree: Seven years as a registered nurse practicing at the bedside in Invasive Cardiology or cardiovascular critical care
• Bachelor Degree 
• Registered Nurse (KY)

Desired:

• Three years management in a Healthcare setting
