Manager Clinical Transplant Services NP or PA
Location:Â Phoenix, AZ
Shift:Â Mon-Fri, Days, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
- Maintains 24/7 accountability for patient care operations within all transplant programs. Works with Transplant Medical, Surgical and Hospital leadership to ensure continuous care coverage.
- Provides leadership for transplant subspecialty Advanced Practice Providers in the department, including scheduling, payroll, budget, staff evaluations/counseling and recruitment.
- Assists with collaborating physicians on professional development of transplant Advanced Practice Providers.
- Actively participates in transplant programmatic development.
- Partners with transplant surgeons, physicians and hospital leadership to develop and communicate the vision for the physicians/nurse practitioners/physician assistant/clinical nurse specialist/RN/MA care delivery models. Facilitates the implementation and ongoing revisions of models across the patient care continuum including critical care, step-down, medical/surgical, and ambulatory settings.
- Responsible for collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement the patient care philosophy, standards of practice, department goals, policies and procedures.
- Ensures continual delivery of high-quality clinical care.
- Assures compliance of The Joint Commission, CMS, OPTN standards as well as other regulatory agencies.
- Enforces adherence to relevant state boards for clinical personnel and to other governing agency regulations; measures health outcomes against standards; makes or recommends adjustments.
- Remains current and works towards best practice in clinical management, clinical knowledge and PCH policies and procedures. Incorporates clinical expertise by serving as a resource related to clinical aspects of areas of responsibility.
