Position Summary

The Manager of Cost Accounting is responsible for all cost accounting and production analysis functions for the Winchester, KY location. The Manager of Cost Accounting will contribute to managing the business by participating in business planning, full engaging in the budgeting process, performing all facets of cost accounting, and completing thorough production analysis. Catalent's Winchester location is the flagship US manufacturing location for large scale oral dose forms, with integrated analytical and development services. With 28 years of expertise in product development, technology transfers and commercial manufacturing, and roots in industry-leading Glatt technology.

Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM

The Role

• Maintain effectiveness of the Quality System.
• Manage Cost Accounting and Production Analysis function.
• Responsible for month end and year end closure activities.
• Manage and give necessary supervision to professional cost accounting activities.
• Install cost control procedures and provides staff supervision over cost systems and methods.
• Compile periodic statements of product cost and prepare appropriate operating reports.
• Review completed product manufacturing cost, and review and analyze unit costs of finished products.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• 5+ years progressive experience in the Finance/Accounting field
• 1+ year(s) supervisory experience
• Advanced degree preferred, but not required
• CPA or CMA preferred
