Manager, Finance Senior

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for providing financial oversight to business unit (BU) staff and acting as partner to BU personnel. Responsible for providing aftermarket (IAM), selling, and administrative (S&A) financial support. Assist North America region with new business opportunities including quote reviews and appropriations requests (AR).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Serve as business partner to BU personnel and assist in providing strategic analysis and tactical direction for long-term financial success of the BU.
• Interpret and communicate complex financial information to both financial and non-financial management.
• Provide early warning on all business trends that affect the performance of the BU- including P&L, balance sheet, and operational issues, while identifying probable causes and solutions.
• Lead monthly S&A earnings call presentation including consolidation of expenses and headcount across global locations.
• Coordinate the annual budget and long-range planning allocation process for the S&A expenses at global tech centers.
• Provide finance support of sales function- including OCI analysis, SIMS reconciliation, and other support as needed.
• Participate in North America regional pre-QRB reviews; perform regional financial analysis of DCF/RSM and AR opportunities in the region.
• Manage PTC finance function.
• Cultivate continuous improvement mentality of cost reduction, investment optimization and lean thinking across the BU, including within the BU support staff.
• Other projects and responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the BU.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA or CMA Preferred
• MBA Required
• Minimum ten years of finance experience with increasing responsibilities - some experience working within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical/problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Understanding of business controls
• Capability to assess / implement business processes.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Prior experience with SAP and OneStream preferred.
