Job Description

We are currently looking for a Manager, Financial Business Intelligence to join our growing Finance team! In this role, you will report directly to the Director, Financial Systems. As Manager, Financial Business Intelligence, you will support the Director, Financial Systems and play a crucial role in the organization by overseeing and leading activities related to financial intelligence and analysis. You will manage a business intelligence team centered on providing insight and aiding in business decision-making. You will plan projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions. In this role, you will apply your subject-matter expertise to enhance projects with insightful takeaways and perspective. You will collaborate with project stakeholders to design and plan initiatives, and ensure that business intelligence analysts have the tools, training and understanding of the field to produce effective dashboards, reports, and metrics.

As Manager, Financial Business Intelligence, your duties will include:

• Hands-on experience as a Data Architect with strong data analytical skills with CRM, Billing systems & Usage data, able to tie-up Revenue with Usage metrics
• Hands-on with complex SQL 
• Understanding user issues and requirements for reporting
• Ability to maintain (and expand upon) our KPI logic (Annual Revenue calculation, Customer Retention, Customer Count, etc.) - this would involve maintaining the revenue tables and able to make updates to how we would want to calculate retention in different scenarios, running & sharing predictive-at risk reports with stakeholders, maintaining customer health score, maintaining Customer 360 and other dashboards
• Communicate/report frequently to stakeholders and team members
• Manage project risks and develop contingency and/or mitigation plans, facilitate issue resolution and escalate issues that cannot be resolved by the team
• Ensure continued alignment of program scope, status, risks, and dependencies through effective communication to business leads
• Work closely with Technical and Business teams to identify and evaluate solutions to ensure the quality and timeliness of product deliverables
• Work closely with the Finance team to understand their data needs and provide solutions to support their analysis and reporting
• Work with the Data Security team to ensure data security measures are to place to protect sensitive financial information, including encryption, access controls, and regular security audits
• Establish data quality standards and processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the financial data used for analysis and reporting
• Develop self-service tools to help the Finance team easily analyze and retrieve data
• Provide training and support to finance team and other end-users for any software application used
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics are related field
• 5+ years of experience in Data Architect and Data Analysis
• Experience working with Data visualization tools (Looker is a plus), SQL, API, S4, Power BI
• Has experience dealing with stakeholders, understanding process mapping
• Experience with the principles of full life cycle systems design, development, and deployment
• Attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities to break down complex ideas into simple & manageable segments, troubleshoot data issues, and see issues to resolution
• Critical thinking skills regarding methods to collect and present data

BONUS POINTS FOR:

• Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through day-to-day management
• Experience with advanced analytical and/or statistical modeling
