As the Manager, FP&A, you will report directly to Director of Finance and will monitor the end to end profit & loss statements, reporting and budget & forecasting for the Aetna Better Health of Illinois. In this remote role, you will advise on latest updates from the state regarding rates, adjustments, determinations, program changes, and will report on the financial impact as well as determine rate adequacy for confirmation and/or follow up state discussions. You will assist in inquiries by both the state and the Illinois Association of Medicaid Health Plans regarding the marketshare, data submission for the purpose of rate setting and medical trend analysis on behalf of the Health Plan.Additional responsibilities include:

Supporting month end close activities related to Membership, Revenue, Medical Expense, MBR and G&A.

Presenting schedules/reports and variance analysis to Health Plan Finance Leadership.

Working closely with Corporate Controllership/Actuarial Team to accurately reflect results in the financials.

Become the strategic subject matter expert for all forecasting cycles with the approval of the Senior Manager and Health Plan CFO /CEO for reporting to the Enterprise

Prepare monthly medical trend analysis for product performance and reporting of risk areas within medical lag and non-lag for mitigation by Clinical and Operational staff and participate in Medical Cost Trend meetings for the suggestion of mitigation and SAI efforts

Create and support of requisite and supplemental materials to assist in variance, close and forecast reporting to Health Plan leadership and Enterprise as needed.

Due to the nature of this remote role, candidates must have some Medicare and/or Medicaid experience.Required Qualifications
-5 or more years of relevant financial experience

Bachelor's Degree required; Preferably in Financial/Business disciplineAt this time, this role is not able to provide visa sponsorshipPay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$54,300.00 - $159,120.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
