The Opportunity

Title: Manager, FP&A and ESG
Reports to: Associate Director, FP&A
Location: New York, NY

We are looking for a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) who will be an integral member of IAC Corporate’s FP&A and ESG teams. The role will provide support across all areas of the FP&A and ESG functions with direct interaction with the Company’s subsidiaries to understand and communicate timely trends, operational issues, and risks. Candidates must have a proven background of analytical excellence and a strong work ethic as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Preparation of reports that highlight the operational results, forecast, and business plans of IAC’s businesses
• Ongoing assessment, tracking, and reporting of all the Company’s business unit performance with respect to financial, strategic, and operational goals and initiatives with timely communication of opportunities and risks
• Perform monthly financial reporting, including detailed variance analysis, for corporate overhead expenses
• Participate in the recurring budgeting and long-term planning processes and ensure proper reporting and analysis for corporate overhead expenses
• Prepare, review, and consolidate materials for quarterly earnings
• Development of strong relationships across the organization
• Assist in other finance functions as needed

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)

• Assist in preparing the annual ESG Report and audit ESG data and materials for accuracy and consistency
• Help respond to ESG rating agency questionnaires
• Review and analyze corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhancing the strategy, methods, framework, and related tools
• Act as a technical expert on sustainability frameworks, standards, reporting, and disclosures
• Prepare reports on performance against environmental and social targets/KPIs
• Support with preparing Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol
• Help with surveying businesses to compile qualitative social disclosures

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: finance, financial planning & analysis, ESG, audit, or data and analytics
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting
• Knowledge of global environmental standards and frameworks: such as UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and others
• Exceptional analytical acumen
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills; Essbase/Hyperion a plus
• Superior ability to work independently and deal effectively with complex projects entailing frequent interaction with senior executives
• Demonstrated ability to consistently work within fixed timeframes and meet deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Flexibility to perform effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• High level of academic achievement and demonstrated analytical and quantitative strength
  

Salary Range: $120,000 to $135,000.

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of IAC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
