Manager, Inpatient Pharmacy - Operations - Pharmacy

JOB SUMMARY: Manager, Inpatient Pharmacy Responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in Chief with all supervisory & management functions related to the operation of the inpatient pharmacy. Provides the full range of pharmacy services. Responsible for the daily operational performance of pharmacy services: planning, personnel management, financial performance & distribution of medications, clinical programs, procurement, storage, inventory control, compounding, quality, safety & education. The Manager will provide staffing as needed & on call for urgent Pharmacy issues. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree 5 Years of Experience Registered Pharmacist Demonstrated ability to train and mentor others. Knowledgeable of all applicable federal, state, health and other regulatory laws, ethics and standards related to hospital pharmacy operations Academic credentials suitable for professional appointment in an academic center Strong fiscal planning skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICIATIONS: Doctorate Degree (non MD) 6 Years of Experience Previous Management Experience Experience in clinical research and instruction The current salary range for this position is $82.14 to $112.94 Rady Children’s Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
