About the Role We are seeking a highly creative and operationally-mindedManager, Marketing Operations & Designto be the driving force behind our brand's visual content and creative systems. This role is a hybrid—you will be both ahands-on creative leaderand theoperational driverresponsible for building a streamlined, high-performing design function. You will lead the end-to-end execution of our visual content—from concept development for campaigns and brand design to the direction of photoshoots and video production. Crucially, you will own and implement scalablecreative operationssystems, including our Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. You will alsomanage and mentora Graphic Designer Assistant who supports day-to-day production, file prep, and asset management. Work Environment This position is100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. However, the role requires mandatory on-site duties for managing creative production: Photoshoot Duties:Requiresquarterly on-site presenceto direct photoshoots and video shoots (typically one Sunday per quarter). What You’ll Do: 1. Creative Production & Direction Lead the full lifecycle ofphotoshoots and video shoots, including: • Merchandising, outfitting, prop direction, and model/venue coordination. • Manage and direct external creative partners (photographers, videographers, stylists, editors) to ensure high-quality, on-brand assets. • Lead the selection of final images and video clips for all marketing channels (website, Amazon, digital ads, print). • Shot list planning, post-production editing, and final asset delivery. 2. Graphic Design & Brand Consistency • Develop compellingcreative conceptsand content strategies that adhere to brand guidelines and achieve campaign goals. • Partner with marketing and sales teams to design assets for a wide range of needs: email, SMS, Amazon listings, partner collaborations, digital ads, packaging, and events. • Ensureabsolute brand consistencyacross all channels and customer touchpoints. • Oversee and conduct quality reviews of all assets produced by the Graphic Designer Assistant to ensure clarity, alignment, and brand excellence. 3. Creative Operations & Asset Management • Own, implement, and managea scalableDigital Asset Management (DAM) systemto organize, tag, and distribute all creative files (photos, video, graphics). • Establish clear naming conventions, file storage standards, and workflow processes to ensure assets are easy to retrieve and re-use across the organization. • Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, B2B) to ensure assets are delivered on time and in the correct formats. 4. Leadership & Team Management • Manage and mentorthe Graphic Designer Assistant, providing clear priorities, guidance, and constructive feedback. • Serve as thepoint of accountabilityfor creative vision, final approvals, and asset delivery across the organization. • Effectivelydelegateday-to-day execution tasks (file saving, tagging, collateral ordering) to maximize team efficiency while retaining ownership of the overall creative strategy. What We’re Looking For: • Experience:6–8 years in graphic design, creative production, or creative operations (apparel, retail, or consumer brand experience is strongly preferred). • Portfolio:A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative direction and content execution across diverse marketing channels. • Operational Acumen:Proven experience managing photoshoots, video shoots, complex cross-functional workflows, and deep knowledge ofDAM systemsand asset management best practices. • Management Skills:Strong project management and delegation skills; experience successfullymanaging and mentoringjunior designers or assistants. • Technical Proficiency:Expert proficiency inAdobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere) and collaborative design tools (Figma or equivalent). • Judgment:A critical combination of strong aesthetic judgment and a pragmatic operational mindset.
