POSITION OVERVIEW

The Manager of NPO Training is responsible for supporting all Sky Zone launches and activations to ensure parks in their assigned region or Designated Market Area (DMA) are properly trained to company standards associated with New Park Openings. This role involves extensive travel to new and existing parks to provide training for new park openings, new franchisees, and managers, as well as leading a team of field trainers to deliver high-quality, standardized training programs. The Manager of Field Training will oversee budget adherence, program effectiveness, and maintain operational excellence across all training initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • New Park Opening Training Support: Oversee and execute training for new park openings, ensuring all staff are adequately trained in operational standards, guest service, and safety procedures.
  • New Franchisee Training: Provide comprehensive training and support to new franchisees to ensure a smooth transition and adherence to Sky Zone standards.
  • Manager Training: Conduct ongoing training programs for managers to ensure consistent leadership and operational excellence across all locations.
  • Regional Training Support: Support all Sky Zone launches and activations within the assigned region or DMA, ensuring parks are trained to the highest standards and are fully operational.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of new park opening field trainers, ensuring they meet all budget standards, deliver consistent training programs, and maintain quality in line with Sky Zone standards.
  • Compliance and Standardization: Ensure all training programs and field trainers adhere to company standards and operational procedures.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and field trainers, adjusting as necessary to improve outcomes and efficiency.
  • Budget Management: Manage training budgets, ensuring cost-effective program delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Working cross functional with various business stakeholders to ensure all new park openings are being completed to current and relevant standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve training processes and content, ensuring rapid adaptation to evolving business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Training and Development, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in a field training role, with at least 3+ years in park, retail, fitness, or food operation experience, preferably in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of delivering training programs in a dynamic environment and the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs.
    • Experience leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in the skill sets of facilitation and captivating an audience’s attention. 
  • Travel:
    • This position requires the ability to travel extensively, up to 90% of the time, including weekends and extended stays at park locations as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and conduct hands-on training activities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • This position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds at times, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation: $90-105k/annually + bonus based on qualifications, experience, and performance. Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k with company match.
