Job Description

As the Manager of Operations, you’ll be responsible for leading a team through the execution of daily operations at Selux. It will be your responsibility to ensure customer orders are filled accurately and expeditiously, including all activities related to receipt, storage, kitting, and shipping. Your enthusiastic, self-motivated attitude combined with a tenacious drive to tackle challenging projects will make you successful in this role.

This is an opportunity to use your operations/business acumen to shape the policies and procedures that will be the foundation of a successful commercial organization. Selux currently operates out of two facilities in MA, in Marlborough and Charlestown. Travel will be required to both sites, with ~80% of time at the Marlborough facility. The role will report to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day tasks supporting point-to-point flow of materials (receiving, inspecting, kitting, stocking, and fulfilling).
  • Lead and mentor a team of direct reports.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained across all Selux sites.
  • Report on KPIs related to daily operations.
  • Work on cross-functional teams to establish new processes and implement process improvements.
  • Create and maintain functional SOPs to promote standard work.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years’ experience or 7+ years’ experience in warehousing operations.
  • Experience operating under FDA regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Prior experience taking start-ups to commercialization.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Familiarity with ERP and/or WMS systems (NetSuite preferred).
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and detail oriented.

Target Salary Range: $80K-$110K
