Pay Range: $68.59 - $108.03 per hour

Summary:
The Oncology Pharmacy Operations manager is responsible for the operations of the oncology pharmacy services. The scope shall include managing and leading of personnel, collaboration across the multidisciplinary team, achieving compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and optimizing the patient experience and health outcomes. The manager works closely with pharmacy staff to resolve issues related to pharmacy operations and systems, improve efficiencies and controls, and reduce costs. Required Job Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a pharmacy degree.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Pharmacist by the State of Illinois Board of Pharmacy with 6 months of hire
• Successful completion of PGY1/2 Health System Pharmacy Administration or equivalent experience of 5 years of experience in hospital and/or infusion pharmacy experience, with 3 years of previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and customer facing skills
• Must have a strong customer service orientation and excellent organizational skills.Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Board certification in oncology (BCOP) preferred.Competencies:

• Process improvement to achieve improved workflow efficiencies while maintaining safe practice standards
• Demonstrating effective human resource management by addressing performance issues constructively, recognizing and rewarding achievements, conducting meaningful performance evaluations, and guiding team members in their professional growth and development.
Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities
1.Supervises, mentors, and provides feedback to oncology pharmacy staff
2.Participates in hiring, discipline, orientation, and training need of oncology pharmacy staff
3.Coordinates activities between pharmacy personnel and other inter and intradepartmental areas.
4.Ensures compliance with Federal and State laws, Department of Health and State Board of Pharmacy regulations and other regulatory and accreditation standards.
5.Participates in the development and review of policies and procedures. Participates in the operating and capital budget process for the oncology service line as it relates to pharmacy services
6.Provides workflow and process strategy, including productivity and quality monitors to ensure maximum utilization of Human Resources
7.Represents pharmacy on various oncology-specific committees
8.Participates in development, implementation, evaluation, and quality improvement of oncology services.
9.Coordinates oncology pharmacy services between sites to ensure provision of safe, consistent, standardized care throughout the system.
10.Leads planning, assessment, and improvement of medication use in oncology patients.
11.Develops and manages strategic plans and clinical initiatives that support system and oncology product line goals.
12.Provides customer, quality, and cost feedback to the oncology service line and its customers within and outside the system
13.Creates an environment of empowerment, teamwork, and collaboration both in and outside the pharmacy.
