Responsibilities

Come join Baker Tilly's Development & Community Advisory team as a Manager or Senior Manager! Baker Tilly's Industrial Advisory team guides clients through a range of event driven situations through its experienced group of professionals. There are also opportunities to advise clients on the appropriate use of their company data to improve daily operations to maximize existing infrastructure to supplement any significant capacity investments. As part of this growing team, you will participate in the following types of engagements:

  • Assessing current processes to improve information flow within a client's business
  • Developing data pipelines to support the consolidation of disparate data into analytics platforms that can provide insight into daily operations
  • Creation of dashboard reporting to support critical business decision making
  • Creating financial models to support capital investment decisions
  • Participating in developing innovative service delivery models to serve clients using the latest technology
  • Program management activities for delivery model innovation initiatives
  • Identify and develop service opportunities to assist Baker Tilly's manufacturing industry clients

Qualifications

Successful candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, supply chain, engineering or manufacturing-related field required.
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience within manufacturing companies or manufacturing industry consulting required
  • Detailed understanding of daily operations within manufacturing and distribution companies
  • Experience building financial models incorporating income statements and cash flows to support business decisions for industrial companies
  • Experience with core financial processes (e.g. monthly close, financial reporting) of a manufacturing company preferred
  • Experience with developing reporting or data analytics with manufacturing ERP platforms preferred
  • 2+ years of experience building data analytics and visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.) preferred

Additional Information

For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: the compensation range for this role is $113,640 to $240,850. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
