Essential Functions

  • In partnership with outside Media AOR, drive best practices and performance accountability on all digital media channels. Provide thought leadership and direct collaboration with AOR to optimize bottom of the funnel performance marketing returns.
  • Responsible for all paid media reporting, working closely with Media AOR - QA, consolidation, visualizations, optimization reporting, etc. In collaboration with the Digital Analytics team, compare paid media results to website analytics/GA4 on a regular cadence.
  • Prospect and vet potential performance media partners and manage all direct buying relationships from implementation to reporting.
  • Monitor and be accountable for campaign results via Media AOR reporting and within direct platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, DV360, etc).
  • In collaboration with Data Science and Marketing Technology teams, develop data driven 1st party and behavioral audience segments for use in paid media.
  • Manage ongoing test/learn agenda and published findings across all brands to help inform optimal media mix and customer journey. Additionally collaborate with analytics team on all large test/control analysis to ensure media metrics are blended with sales/performance to inform actionable insights.
  • In collaboration with Digital Analytics and Marketing teams, drive media tagging/pixeling implementation best practices, QA campaigns in real time, and identify optimization opportunities.

Job Summary

The Performance Media Manager reports to the Sr. Director, Media Planning & Strategy on the Marketing team supporting multiple Brands within the GO TO FOODS portfolio. This role will support omni-channel media strategy, planning, buying and measurement initiatives across the organization to deliver both measurable revenue and brand equity. This role will aim to improve our media efficiencies and effectiveness through innovative use of 1st Party data, performance media metrics, and a focus on lower funnel conversion optimization and full funnel analytics to support media performance.

Work Experience

  • 5-7 years of digital performance media buying experience and/or digital media analytics experience
  • 3-5 years analytics experience, ideally in omni-channel environment
  • Proven track record in digital media and driving measurable results
  • Experience working within a matrixed project team

Skills & Abilities

  • Expert knowledge of digital media & reporting and an ability to educate
  • Proven track record using owned and shared data segments in marketing
  • Successful usage of marketing technology and tools (Ad Servers, 1PD onboarders, Location attribution measurement partners, Data Management Platforms or Customer Data Platforms, etc.)
  • Equal parts strategic and activation-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functional and geographic boundaries
  • Strong communication (including written and presentations), active listening, relationship building, and negotiations skills required
  • Strong project management skills - ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize job requirements while remaining organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure in meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships (e.g., management, stakeholders, other departments, etc.) and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support
