The Procurement Manager is responsible to capture all requirements for direct and indirect materials, create and communicate purchase orders and ensure supply at the right time, quality and price.

This position is part of the Supply Chain Team located in Hoegaarden, Belgium.

What you’ll do:

• You will manage and coach the Buyers in the Procurement team.
• You have the end responsibility of the procurement processes.
• Lead, delegate or support projects from the procurement perspective.
• Be responsible for Inventory, Supplier OTIF, supplier past due KPIs.
• Act as a subject matter expert in ERP (SAP) for the buying modules.
• Leverage the Danaher Business System. Lead and participate in Kaizen events.
• You will work in close collaboration with external suppliers, and other internal departments such as production, planning, quality, sourcing, etc… and with frequent global interactions.

Who you are:

• Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a relevant technical area, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a supply chain/procurement position.
• At least 3 years of experience in people coaching.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French and other languages are a plus.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• ERP proficiency (preferably SAP). Oracle is a plus.
• Advanced MS Office skills and experience in using reporting tools such as QlikSense.
• APICS certification or other procurement/supply chain certificates are a plus
