Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Managing Director for our NYC Properties and Development. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in property management, development, and nonprofit leadership. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, fostering relationships, and overseeing all aspects of property development while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Managing Director will lead a dedicated team to enhance community engagement and maximize the impact of our properties.
Duties
• Develop and implement strategic plans for property management and development that align with organizational objectives.
• Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring successful engagement with stakeholders through effective event management.
• Cultivate strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and donors to enhance public relations efforts.
• Utilize CRM software to manage relationships and track interactions with stakeholders effectively.
• Lead negotiation efforts for property acquisitions, leases, and partnerships to support organizational growth.
• Conduct data collection and research to inform decision-making processes related to property development.
• Manage budgeting processes for properties, ensuring financial sustainability while maximizing resource allocation.
• Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp and Constant Contact.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in property management or development within a nonprofit context is essential.
• Strong background in strategic planning, event planning, and relationship management.
• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated expertise in proposal writing, grant proposal writing, and fundraising strategies.
• Familiarity with estate planning concepts, including wills, trusts, and estate law, is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on public relations and community engagement.
• Experience with databases and digital marketing tools such as WordPress and social media management is preferred.
