What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll learn to operate manual lathes and fabricate custom components that serve vital roles in a wide range of industries. Along the way, you’ll develop technical, mechanical, and problem-solving skills that open doors.
Your training and work will include:
• Machining & Setup: Learn to machine precision parts using manual lathes.
• Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and follow specifications.
• Measurement & Inspection: Use micrometers, gauges, and other tools to check quality.
• Final Processing: Polish, deburr, wrap, and prepare parts for shipment.
• Material Handling: Straighten shafts, use hydraulic presses or torches, and load/unload parts.
• Welding Exposure: MIG welding experience is a plus, but we’ll help train the right person.
• Culture of Improvement: Learn and practice Lean principles. Participate in team-based solutions and take ownership of your work.

What We’re Looking For:
• 1–3 years of hands-on or mechanical experience in manufacturing, trades, or similar (helpful but not required).
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to grow.
• Ability to read (or willingness to learn to read) blueprints and precision measuring tools.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.50 - $28.00 per hour
