Manual Machinist

POSITION: We are seeking a dependable and experienced Manual Mill/Lathe Machinist to join our skilled team in the Southeast Houston Area. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manual milling machines and engine lathes to produce new components and repair existing parts to exact specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Operate manual lathes and mills (VTLs, HBMs) to fabricate and repair components • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions • Set up machines, select tools, and determine machining operations • Measure and inspect parts with micrometers and dial calipers to ensure accuracy and quality standards REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 3 years of experience operating manual mills and lathes • Strong understanding of manual machining principles, tools, and techniques • Ability to work with tight tolerances and critical dimensions Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance Application Question(s): • How many years of experience do you have operating manual mills and lathes? • What manual machines have you ran in the past? • What types of materials have you machined?
