Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
β’ Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (mills, lathes, broaching machines)
β’ Interpret mechanical drawings to achieve precise dimensions
β’ Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
β’ Create custom fixturing and perform part inspection
β’ Assist in training and mentoring fellow machinists
β’ Maintain high safety and quality standards
β’ Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to welding fumes, noise, and non-climate-controlled conditions
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
β’ High school diploma or GED required
β’ 2+ years of manual machining experience preferred
β’ Familiarity with shop safety and lifting equipment
β’ Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift (up to 50 lbs.)
β’ Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening
Work Schedule:
β’ Full-time position: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM β 2:30 PM (40 hours/week)
β’ Overtime as needed
