Manufacturing Accountant in Brownsville TX

Manufacturing Accountant with SAP experience. • Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyze account information • Document financial transactions by entering account information • Perform monthly bookkeeping and Accounting from clients and vendors • Handle general accounting functions (journal entries, general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation • Prepare financial statements • Prepare tax documents • Other duties as assigned by manager · Must have 5 years of manufacturing experience · Strong communication and organizational skills · Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines · Computer literate in Microsoft Office – with emphasis on Excel · SAP · Computer literacy skills, especially with MS Excel and basic data entry and computation · Analytical skills with a keen sense of organization and detail · Proven time management skills and ability to work under strict deadlines · Respect for confidentiality of information laws and local ethics · Expertise in activity-based costing for fixed and variable costs in relation to the overall direct cost of a line of products · Must be respectful, honest, and demonstrate a strong work ethic Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Required The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential function of this job.
