Manufacturing Engineer

Eaton Industries (Austria) GmbH is a leading company in the field of high-quality electrical and electronic products and is one of the companies that dominate the international market. In Austria, there are three organizations spread across two locations: The Vienna location houses the headquarters of the Eaton Power Distribution Division, which is considered a center of excellence for power distribution and control systems and focuses on research and innovation. On the other hand, Eaton's Austrian sales organization is also located in Vienna. One of our many Eaton production sites is located in Schrems, Lower Austria.

For our plant in Schrems, we are looking for a Coordinator for the Facility area (m/f/d).

What you'll do:

Optimization and adaptation of manufacturing processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency

• Manufacturing process analyse and identification of potential improvements to achieve efficiency targets (continous improvement)
• Support the design and implementation of new, and optimization of existing manufacturing or support processes.
• Steering of certain established processes.
• Support layout design and optimization to consider material flow and safety constraints.
• Support plant or PDD related projects as team member.
• Support design and updates of FMEAs.
• Maintenance of master data, bill of materials and routings in the ERP-system - check calculations on plant level.
• Article creation for new products in the ERP-system on plant level.
• Working with different stakeholders to implement enhancements
• Follow change management procedures
• Administrative support for project management

Qualifications:

• Technical education (secondary technical school or higher degree)
• At least 3 years experience in similar position

Skills :

• Excellent German & good English,
• Good technical understanding
• Very good MS-Office knowledge
• Experience with SAP or another ERP programme preferred
• Effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients
• Structured approach to complex task areas and creative and analytical thinking to overcome project challenges
• High level of engagement

Depending on qualifications, we offer a salary according to the Austrian collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in the corresponding employment group. An overpayment is provided depending on the relevant qualifications and experience.
