Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process management by simplifying intricate processes, improving resources, and determining efficient workflow combinations.
  • Manage product quality by successfully implementing flawless production processes.
  • Develop direct reports by providing challenging tasks and assignments, offering developmental feedback.
  • Direct others by establishing clear direction, distributing workloads, and ensuring effective communication.
  • Lead workflow by assigning responsibilities, setting clear objectives, and providing consistent feedback.
  • Supervise the production process, ensuring strict compliance with all safety, GMP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Apply appropriate resources efficiently to ensure schedule adherence and successful completion of daily workloads using developed tools.
  • Facilitate the completion of batch records based on regulatory compliance using the ALCOA principle.
  • Coordinate shift handoffs to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Build and develop a focused workforce that adheres strictly to all procedures and Work Instruction Documents.
  • Improve production processes by applying tools from the PPI (Practical Process Improvement).

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Required Education: HS Diploma/ GED
  • 2 years post-high school education or 2 years of proven applicable experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1 year of project or people leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Lean manufacturing experience.
  • Advanced interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor, train, motivate, and coach team members.
  • Ability to identify waste using LEAN principles, delegate tasks, and improve processes.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Continuous Improvement Certification (e.g., Six Sigma) is a plus.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, controlled cleanroom environment for 8 hours a day, with additional overtime as needed.
  • The cleanroom environment is controlled for temperature and humidity with low ambient noise.
  • Specific gowning required, including gloves, hair and beard net, face cover, safety glasses, and no makeup/jewelry.
  • Ability to use PPE and understand chemical hygiene.
  • Must follow all safety protocols.
  • Ability to stand, reach, bend, stoop, grasp, and use hand tools and equipment.
  • Occasionally lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds unassisted.
