Manufacturing Machinist

Overview We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in operating various machining tools and equipment. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications. As a Machinist, you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring that all parts are manufactured efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities • Operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other machining equipment. • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine specifications. • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy. • Perform Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) as required for specific projects. • Assemble machined components using power tools and manual techniques. • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure compliance with engineering standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery. • Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. • Familiarity with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) processes. • Experience with Fanuc controls for CNC machinery is preferred. • Ability to effectively assemble components using various power tools. • Knowledge of tooling requirements for different machining operations. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
