Perform the daily operations of the site to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgement.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manages an operation, business unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
  • Guides, coaches and develops salaried front-line leaders and hourly employees.
  • Serves as a best practice/quality resource; develops specialized knowledge in their discipline. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensures delivery within area of responsibility.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how their departments integrate with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
  • Uses judgement to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing technology or engineering. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Partners cross-functionally with internal and external resources to assist in decision-making.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues, leading by example and extending knowledge/expertise to aid in their development and growth. Leads small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information in a meaningful way, working to build consensus, developing persuasion skills required to influence others on business topics within field.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years' experience in Manufacturing)
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience

The base pay range for this position is $110,100 - $125,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on December 2, 2024.
