Description: Tradesmen Internationalis immediately hiring experiencedMarine Combo Weldersfor projects located in and aroundSan Diego, CA. This is asecond shiftopportunity with a pay range ofup to $40/hourbased on experience and skill level. If you are a Marine Combo Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! Job Scope: • Perform combo welding on FCAW, aluminum, and structural components • Weld various joint types (fillet, groove, lap) in all positions and multiple passes • Conduct cutting and gouging with carbon electrodes • Use pneumatic and electric tools to grind, clean, and prepare weld joints • Work in shop, production table, and shipboard environments Requirements: • • Minimum 5 years of Shipyard Welding experience;If you do not haverecent Marine experience of at least 5 years, you will NOT be considered for this role! • OSHA 10 Maritime and Fire Watch Certification • Must have a vision test and respirator fit test completed prior to start • Must be able to pass background check and drug screening • Proficient in Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) – this is a minimum requirement • Experience with aluminum and marine-grade 5XXX is a plus • Ability to safely lift, maneuver, and weld structural components in all environmentsCompany Details: Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
