Marine Construction (Welder/Welders Helper)

Lone Star Docks seeks a welder/welders helper for shop and boat dock work on Lake Travis and Lake Austin. Job entails general construction duties such as welding, carpentry, and shop maintenance. We are looking for someone self-motivated that can hustle to maximize job efficiency. Profit sharing is available for qualified personnel, in addition to regular wages. Crew that demonstrate leadership and/or hustle will receive promotion to run jobs and have workboat assigned. Job is full time, Mon.- Thurs., 7:00-5:00 and overtime on Fridays as needed. Overtime is time and a half. Payroll is on the 1st and 15th of the month. Preference is granted those with towing capable trucks for 24' workboats and 20' trailers. Mileage is compensated at $.70/mile (non-towing) and $1.40/mile (towing). Lone Star Docks has General Liability, Workman's Comp., and offers a company health plan.
