Marine Seam Welders – $140/day per diem!

Craft and Technical Solutions (CTS) is seeking experiencedSeam Weldersfor shipyard projects inMarinette, WI!This role involves welding structural components such as hull plates, bulkheads, and frames using flux core techniques, ensuring precision, quality, and safety. Key Responsibilities: • Perform seam welding on ship components. • Use Flux Core welding techniques (2G, 3G, 4G). • Pass 2G, 3G, 4G structural plate and 4-quadrant seam intersection tests. • Interpret blueprints, welding procedures, and technical drawings. • Operate automatic/semi-automatic seam welding equipment. • Conduct pre/post-weld inspections for structural integrity. • Maintain equipment and follow PPE/safety standards. • Collaborate with engineers, fitters, and other trades. Qualifications: • 8+ years maritime welding experience. • High school diploma or equivalent. • Shipyard seam welding experience preferred. • Proficient in blueprint and spec reading. • Strong attention to detail and quality. • Able to work in confined spaces, heights, and all weather conditions. • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
