Marketing Automation Manager (REMOTE; North America Eastern Region or Europe UK&I, FR, DE, CH, SP)

We are looking for a strategic Marketing Automation Manager to lead our marketing automation efforts with deep expertise in Salesforce Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role will oversee the strategic and project-based aspects of marketing automation, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives. The Manager will set priorities, manage resources, and directly supervise a to-be-hired Marketing Automation Specialist and marketing automation contractors. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in managing marketing automation platforms, developing effective campaigns, and driving automation initiatives that contribute significantly to business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing automation strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and marketing objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the Marketing Automation Specialist and marketing automation contractors, overseeing all execution-based activities within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the design and execution of marketing campaigns and nurture efforts, ensuring they meet strategic goals and ROI targets.
  • Priority Setting: Determine project priorities and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in marketing automation efforts.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of automation campaigns and systems. Use insights to drive improvements and demonstrate the impact of automation on business outcomes.
  • Platform Management: Ensure optimal use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot, maximizing the functionality and integration of these platforms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing automation strategies support business priorities.
  • Innovation and Optimization: Continuously explore new automation technologies and practices, particularly within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot, to stay ahead of industry trends and enhance campaign effectiveness.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing automation, including extensive use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within a marketing automation environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful automation strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other marketing automation tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience using Zapier for integrations.

 

Additional Qualifications a plus:

  • Advanced certification in Salesforce Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with CRM integration and data management practices.
  • Proficiency in additional digital marketing tools and analytics software.

Reporting Relationships:

  • A part of the Marketing team at LHH, reporting to the head of Digital Marketing. Directly manage a to-be-hired Marketing Automation Specialist.

Location:

  • We offer a fully remote work environment. We prefer candidates in US (United States) eastern, GMT, or GMT +1 time zones, but will consider qualified candidates in a variety of locations.

  • Range $99,400 Minimum - $124,250 Maximum per year plus bonus (USA)

Placement within this range is determined based on geographic location, experience, and other compensatory factors.
