Eaton's Marketing Commercial Operations Division is currently seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team. This position is based at our Moon Township, PA, Beachwood, OH or Arden, NC locations. The role provides a hybrid work model that includes both work from home and in office experience.

Position Overview:

The MarCom specialist is aligned with a MarCom manager to support the strategy, development, execution and measurement of marketing communications activities for assigned businesses and market segments. The MarCom specialist manages projects and facilitates internal stakeholder reviews/approvals to ensure deliverables are completed and deployed according to schedule, budget and brand standards. The MarCom specialist participates in the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities to drive functional excellence. The successful candidate is comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment, has outstanding project management skills, can manage a high-volume of projects at once and is experienced with both traditional and digital marketing.

In this function you will:

  • Provide project management support for the following and at times, take the lead with direction and support from the MarCom manager:
    • Development of results-oriented content marketing strategies and value-driven messaging that resonates with key target audiences at all stages of the sales funnel
    • Execution of measurable, integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, preference and demand aligned with growth programs
    • On-time, on-budget and on-brand creation/execution of deliverables for the following: Eaton.com/digital, lead generation/lead nurturing, social media, thought leadership, advertising, public/media relations and customer-facing events; utilize the content management platform, Percolate, to manage reviews, revisions and approvals
  • Build Eaton.com web pages using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM); source and resize images; write or edit content for SEO optimization; analyze web traffic and performance using Google Analytics
  • Support product launch activity using the prescribed processes and identify/support opportunities for promoting new products as part of a larger digital offering through audience-focused content and campaigns
  • Understand all aspects of Eaton's brand promise, attributes and standards; accurately represent Eaton in written and verbal communications to position Eaton as a leading power management company; review content for correct brand, voice and messaging
  • Work closely with MarCom Managers to develop monthly budget forecasts; provide accurate budget report and code and track invoices as necessary
  • Other responsibilities include archiving files, maintaining literature lists, registering new suppliers, addressing literature backorders and assigning publication numbers

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 5 years' professional experience
  • Sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without requiring company sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA, Arden, NC or Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in in marketing, journalism, English, communications, engineering, business or related fields
  • Traditional and digital marketing communications experience
  • Experience in B-to-B marketing, digital marketing or communications
  • Aptitude for understanding and explaining highly technical information
  • Aptitude for learning and adopting tools in the Martech stack; experience with the following platforms is a plus: AEM for web development, Eloqua for marketing automation, Percolate for content management and Big Tin Can for sales enablement
  • Digital marketing, content marketing, SEO, analytics, integrated campaigns, lead generation, demand generation, sales enablement
  • Electrical product, market and channel knowledge
