Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Content Marketing, the Marketing Communications Specialist will work cross-functionally on a wide variety of projects, gaining insight into all aspects of marketing. You will focus on project managing the development, production, and maintenance of collateral, web content, and other key marketing materials and programs. As part of the development and production, you will help to project manage writers, creative agencies, and marketing team members from project initiation to completion. Along the way you will learn the foundations of marketing communications and apply those skills to jumpstart your marketing career in a fast-growing company and innovative marketing environment.

What you will do:

• Work to assess project needs for marketing assets and programs in support of overarching content strategies and integrated marketing campaigns

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to initiate and track projects from design and development through to review/approval cycles and implementation

• Create project management workflows and processes to execute on all projects

• Collaborate across the broader marketing team to align resources and project manage with an extended team of contract writers, designers and internal creative and content teams

• Partner day to day with the integrated marketing program leads to manage the prioritization and flighting of all marketing materials

• Promote marketing assets across Gigamon owned channels including social, web site, community, blogs, events, and more

• Own the documentation, training, content library, and processes around corporate marketing projects

Requirements:

• Recent graduate in a marketing or related field; ideally 2+ years' experience in a marketing environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Project management experience, detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to prioritize under deadlines

• Familiarity with Workfront or related project management tools a plus

• Team oriented, fast learner and interest in innovating

• Self-motivated, savvy marketer with a desire to learn and explore new marketing communications strategies

The base salary compensation range targeted for this role based out of Gigamon's Santa Clara, CA Headquarters office is [$92,000-$115,000], with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.
