Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efforts of the marketing team(s) to carry out marketing campaigns, DTC initiatives, and B2B support. Duties include researching market trends, generating and presenting reports, creating campaigns, and executing marketing events. The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Manager(s).

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Campaign

  • Coordinate marketing campaigns to maximize demand and sales, maintaining brand consistency in all marketing materials
  • Assign and distribute information to team members promptly
  • Compile and communicate sales team information and plans to support campaigns
  • Act as a team lead for creative direction and strategic support, working closely with Marketing Manager(s)
  • Track and report the performance of marketing campaigns

 Sponsorship Program

  • Maintain a strong working relationship with partners and proactively seek new opportunities
  • Manage partner agreements throughout the entire contract life-cycle
  • Tracking key performance metrics and confirming brand deliverables are met
  • Maintaining partner contact database
  • Coordinating with third party teams to ensure quality efforts are consistent and uphold to brand standards
  • Proactively source new opportunities throughout the community
  • Completing fulfillment requests for marketing and promotional item support

Events

  • Assisting in planning industry events from initial research through successful execution and post-event analysis.
  • Travel as a key member of the of the on-site events team, to set-up and close-out the event, educate the community about our brand, and help meet sales goals while getting to network in the industry. 
  • Manage influencer appearance and vehicle logistics
  • Support our partners to execute successful events worldwide throughout the year
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and guests

B2B Marketing

  • Assist with the planning, execution, tracking and reporting the performance of cooperative-marketing programs, customer promotions and sales incentives
  • Completing fulfillment requests for marketing and promotional item support
  • Coordinating with the Creative Team in creating product catalogs, B2B magazines, and other B2B collateral materials.
  • Coordinating with Sales team for the most effective promotion of the Mishimoto brand at customer events
  • Assisting the Sales team as needed with the development and execution of our world-class global event program, from pre to post-event initiatives
  • Additional support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate clearly with various departments, vendors, contractors, and partners
  • Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for representing the company in public, during events, and professional relationships
  • Strong ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently and with others in a fast-paced environment
  • 2-3 year of event management experience
  • 1-2 year of experience in B2B Marketing
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
  • Be an overall good guy/gal and lend a hand to the marketing team when needed

Extra Credit:

  • Automotive enthusiasm and/or automotive industry experience
  • Experience managing sponsorship/ influencer accounts

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

Normal office environment. Ability to travel to, attend, and conduct customer meetings and presentations.  Occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs.  Overtime as required.
