Marketing Director Overview Our organization is a vertically integrated cannabis producer and retailer, offering a diverse range of cannabis products. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Director to lead our dynamic marketing team. This role involves overseeing the creation and execution of impactful marketing strategies that support our business objectives, enhance brand awareness, and drive retail sales. Marketing Director Duties and Responsibilities • Leading and managing the marketing team, including the Graphic Designer, to develop compelling digital and print marketing materials. • Overseeing the design and implementation of marketing campaigns across various platforms, including digital advertising, social media, and email marketing. • Creating and executing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones through creative marketing initiatives. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals and ensure consistency in branding and messaging. • Providing leadership and direction to ensure high-quality, on-brand deliverables that support marketing objectives. • Analyzing marketing campaign performance and refining strategies to drive optimal results. • Developing concepts and ideas that resonate with target audiences and foster long-term brand loyalty. Requirements • Proven experience in marketing, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role. • Expertise in digital marketing platforms, including social media, email campaigns, and website content management. • Strong understanding of branding principles and the ability to create cohesive, impactful campaigns. • Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights) to measure and optimize performance. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. • In-depth knowledge of the cannabis industry, including its culture, regulations, and trends, is strongly preferred. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and video editing software is a plus. Detailed job duties • Develop and manage marketing budgets to ensure efficient use of resources. • Create and oversee marketing collateral, including packaging, promotional materials, and digital content. • Drive engagement and growth across social media platforms with innovative strategies. • Lead brainstorming sessions to develop creative campaigns and ideas. • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and regulatory requirements. • Foster relationships with external vendors, agencies, and influencers to expand brand reach. • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Education • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. • Equivalent experience in marketing or related roles, preferably within the cannabis industry, may fulfill education requirements. Preferred Experience • Strong background in team leadership and project management. • Hands-on experience in the cannabis industry, with knowledge of compliance and visual style guidelines. • Familiarity with marketing organization tools and platforms. Work Location, Salary, & Hours • On-site work is required. • Job Type: Full-Time Salary Position. • Salary: $80,000-$90,000 yr • Standard Full-Time: 40-50 hours per week. • Hours and work location may vary to meet the company's needs and priorities. Additional Requirements: • Minimum of 21 years of age. • Have reliable transportation and a driver’s license. • Must pass all required background checks and obtain all required cannabis work cards with the State of NV CCB and LV Metro Police Dept at employee’s expense. • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the Cannabis Industry. • Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance). This job function may include walking, standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching. • Knowledge of and compliance with Federal and State Cannabis regulations. • Have an outgoing, professional and approachable demeanor. • Well-groomed and dressed appropriately at all times in work uniform or PPE, with adherence to company dress code policy. • Knowledge of safety practices and all applicable safety standards in the cannabis retail and/or production industry. • Basic computer literacy in working with Google G Suite, email, and Microsoft Office suite. • Must be detail oriented and organized with thorough documentation skills. • Have a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and well within a team. Work Authorization/Security Clearance: There is no visa or H1-B sponsorship. Candidates must successfully complete a criminal record screening or FBI Fingerprints requirements. Note that any applicant with a violent felony or drug-related offense (Conclusion of sentence, probation, and/or incarceration within the past 10 years) is not eligible to become a dispensary agent.
