Marketing Events ManagerWho We Are:

Founded in 2018 by a group of engineers from Stanford, Cisco Meraki, and Samsara, Spot AI was created to deliver on the mission of visually indexing the physical world and empowering people at work with video.  Now we’re a group of almost 100 (and counting!) Spotans who support hundreds of customers like Cheeseman, Mixt and Northland Cold Storage, and thousands of daily users.

In 2021, Spot AI scaled bookings 10x and is continuing to grow aggressively. Backed by Redpoint, Bessemer, and Village Global, we are financially stable and well-positioned to disrupt the $30b video surveillance market and lead the $100b Video Intelligence movement.  Please explore further at Spot.ai.

Who You Are:

You are a marketing events master.  Whether digital or live and in-person, you know how to create and optimize engaging, meaningful and successful event experiences for our customers, and our teams.  You enjoy content creation, including supporting interesting webinars that pique customer (and their buying) interest.  You have worked in the B2B, SaaS industry, and enjoy taking ownership of projects while also working collaboratively and cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Client Success and Product Management.  You are eager to scale a growing events strategy!

What Excites You:
  • Owning the webinar lifecycle from content creation to event setup; to platform and technical support for presenters and attendees; to managing event interactivity like chat capability, polling, online Q&A and breakout rooms; to post-event follow up and reporting.
  • Collaborating with marketing managers to coordinate assets and event deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders from inside marketing, and with the sales and product teams to prepare slide decks, schedule events, and complete dry runs for digital events.
  • Updating and maintaining pre and post-event registration lists and working with the Analytics team to report data metrics.
  • Collaborating with the sales and sales development teams in developing engaging outreach strategies.
  • Logistical planning and execution of trade shows, conferences, and field marketing events.
  • Tracking and reconciling event budgets and expenses, partnering closely with the finance team on all marketing invoices and expenses.
What Gets Our Attention:
  • You are data driven.  You will generate post-production reports that are shared up to the C-Suite, and make decisions on future events using data from current ones.
  • You have orchestrated successful events in a fast-paced, live event production environment.
  • You are proficient with time management, prioritization and organization and consistently meet deadlines.
  • You are an excellent and professional communicator, whether verbally or in writing.
  • You have strong analytical and proven presentation skills.
  • You are a fast learner and can articulate how you’ve successfully learned new technologies and software.
  • You know your way around Salesforce, Hubspot, Adobe Reader and varios virtual events programs.
  • You have at least 3 years of event management experience, at least 2 of which include experience with digital events.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in Marketing, Communications, content creation or similar field
What’s In It For You:
  • Competitive compensation: the salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 annually
  • Generous early stage equity
  • Medical, dental and vision plan options
  • 401K with Employer Match
  • Flexible and supportive time off practices, including self-managed PTO and a 14-week new parent leave policy
  • Learning and Development Opportunities
  • Remote work flexibility, including a stipend to setup your ideal home office
