Position Overview TheMarketing Operations Managerleads the end-to-end planning and execution of Yellow Rose and Kendra Scott LifestyleCampaigns and brand activations, ensuring all initiatives are delivered on time, aligned with business goals, and supported by clear workflows and tools. Key responsibilities include building campaign calendars, maintaining seasonal playbooks, managing project timelines, and guiding the campaign planning process from kickoff through in-market execution. This role also plays a key part in driving operational efficiency—streamlining workflows, improving cross-functional collaboration, and enhancing execution across the Marketing organization. The Marketing Operations Manager serves as the project lead for brand activations, partnering across teams to manage production timelines and deliverables. They directly manage one team member—the Marketing Operations Lead—providing daily support, workload prioritization, and coaching. With a balance of strategic thinking and process discipline, this role helps elevate how marketing work is executed and scaled. Responsibilities: • Team Leadership & Development • Manage and develop a direct report—the Marketing Operations Lead — providing day-to-day guidance, workload prioritization, and professional growth support. • Assign and delegate projects, ensuring clear ownership, balanced bandwidth, and timely execution. • Campaign Planning & Execution • Develop comprehensive end-to-end timelines forYellow Rose and Kendra ScottLifestyle campaign projects, meticulously tracking major milestones and escalating risks to leadership as needed. • Strategically plan campaigns and projects, aligning execution with company goals, and prioritizing the customer experience. • Anticipate all deliverables, team requirements, and cross-functional communications needed to successfully execute seasonal campaigns and key marketing initiatives. • Build and maintain comprehensive Campaign Playbooks for the Marketing team, ensuring essential information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of the Campaign Planning Workflow, clearly documenting each phase of campaign execution—from strategic kickoff through delivery. • Manage the planning and execution of marketing deliverables associated with YR promotions. • Brand Activations & Cross-Channel Initiatives • Lead project management and production efforts for high-impact brand activations, events, and cross-functional marketing initiatives. • Serve as the central point of contact for cross-functional execution—partnering with internal teams and external collaborators to drive timelines, deliverables, and flawless execution. • Leverage support from the Marketing Operations Lead to manage timelines, logistics, and communication for all activation-related initiatives. • Process Optimization & Operational Excellence • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline operations, increase efficiency, and reduce executional friction across teams. • Lead change management efforts to improve marketing workflows, including driving adoption of new processes, tools, and documentation. • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to maintain strong communication throughout the campaign lifecycle, including routing follow-ups, resolving blockers, and aligning priorities. • Partner with the Collaborative Partnerships Relations team to support seamless integration of marketing efforts into seasonal campaigns and cross-channel activations. • Cross Functional Communication & Project Management • Organize and lead cross-functional meetings, creating agendas and presentations that drive clarity, accountability, and decision-making. Manage assigned ad hoc projects with a high level of detail, efficiency, and operational excellence. Key qualities for success: • 7+ years of experience in marketing or project management within a consumer goods or retail environment, with a proven track record of managing complex campaigns from concept to completion. • Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand vision. • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to effectively communicate and escalate timing risks to relevant leadership, ensuring prompt decision-making and resolution. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at building relationships and fostering collaboration across teams. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions. • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic work environment, demonstrating resilience and a solutions-oriented mindset. • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar), as well as familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting tools. • Demonstrates executive presence, particularly in interactions with C-level leadership. This includes the ability to confidently and effectively communicate ideas, strategies, and project updates clearly and concisely. • Exhibits poise, professionalism, and the capability to build rapport and influence decision-making at the highest organizational levels.
