About The Team

The Consumer Program Management group supports large, complex cross-functional programs for the Consumer Experience Organization. The team exists to ensure Roku's most critical initiatives succeed, from annual & quarterly planning to content & product launches. The team helps set goals, improve processes, & achieve cross-functional alignment.

The team reports to the President of the Consumer Experience Organization. It consists of senior program management leaders who exhibit the technical and business acumen necessary to oversee these critical initiatives. They can quickly understand a range of highly technical programs and provide oversight for multiple complex initiatives that require cross-functional team alignment across internal and external stakeholders.


About The Role

This role will work closely with the Director of Program Management for Roku's Growth Marketing, Merchandising, & Marketing Technology Orgs. The role will work with stakeholders across different business and functional teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a head for process, a strategic approach to problem solving, and can thrive in ambiguity. They will work quickly to understand priorities, develop and communicate a plan, prioritize appropriately, and deliver commitments on time. They will help key executions by tracking key dates and critical dependencies, working with cross-functional teams, and driving processes. 

This role will have dedicated projects, timelines to deliver, and present to stakeholders throughout the internship.

For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $28 -55 per hour. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.


What you’ll be doing

  • Partner with multiple cross-functional teams to help identify and standardize tentpole campaign executional timelines and dependencies.
  • Identify problems and provide proposed solutions.
  • Contribute to feature reviews, quarterly product planning, and launch retrospectives.
  • Drive collaboration across multiple development areas to ensure alignment on priorities of the many campaigns and projects requested from marketing.
  • Work with the Director of Program Management to refine our capacity planning system for resource management.


We’re excited if you have

  • Experience and/or knowledge of the functions of Marketing teams.
  • Have successfully managed projects from start to finish.
  • Skilled communicator with good verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. Ability to succinctly communicate and facilitate project discussions.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish. Must work well with little oversight, but also be aware of when/how to ask for assistance from senior team members or flag risks that need addressed.
  • Keen prioritization skills and an ability to stay calm under pressure. Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-changing environment.
  • Experience with task-tracking systems and project management software is a plus.
