ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you the person who loves checking boxes and bringing order to chaos? Improving inefficiencies and seeing a project from start to finish may seem like a drag to most, but to you it is nirvana. You are knowledgeable about building processes, developing timelines, and project coordination. You love working on multiple projects with multiple people, holding teams accountable, and you thrive in an autonomous environment. 

If that sounds like you, GLORIOUS! You might be the Marketing Project Coordinator (Temporary) we are looking for! An ultimate control freak (in a good way) who loves managing marketing and customer experience projects and timelines.

**Note: This is a SEASONAL position from November 2023 to February 2024.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the Project Coordinator for our Marketing Colony focusing on acquisition & retention as well as customer connection to continue creating the dopest customer experience 
  • Support our marketing division and its two departments, Marketing and Sales, in its day to day operations
  • Coordinate and track the execution of tasks while closely monitoring project deadlines and proactively renegotiating due dates as needed
  • Monitor and analyze team bandwidth to proactively assign tasks 
  • Ingest, assign, track, and manage incoming requests from other teams
  • Improve upon and build processes to create more efficient workflows as we evolve and grow
  • Effectively communicate the status of projects to key role holders 
  • Be a master note taker during meetings and ensure all next actions are captured and assigned out post-meeting
  • Wrangle unicorns and tend to the octopus garden
  • Basically Marie Kondo-ing the heck out of our customer relationship processes, marketing initiatives, and task management
  • This role is in the Marketing team and will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

  • Loves everything above
  • May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
  • Asks a lot of questions 
  • 2+ years of proven working experience in project management 
  • Strong working knowledge of Asana is a MUST
  • Experience with ZenDesk and Shopify is a BIG plus
  • Is excellent at monitoring timelines to ensure deadlines are met and/or renegotiated as needed
  • Loves building and improving processes
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • A self-starter who can rely on their skill in prioritizing and organizing their workflow to coordinate multiple teams
  • Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency
  • Loves the work more than a paycheck 
  • Thinks planning and organizing are fun
  • Loves to create order out of chaos
  • Is happy to give away credit to their team 
  • Loves getting and giving feedback 
  • Is into personal growth
  • Thinks Fun is being great (not partying) 
  • Is proactive and an independent problem solver! (Can you google a question?)

DETAILS 

  • This is a full time seasonal position
  • Start date: November 2023
  • End date: February 2024

  • Salary range: $35 - $40 per hour, final number depending on experience
