Job Description
Position: Financial Technology Partners is seeking a Marketing Specialist as one of our first dedicated Marketing and Communications hire. This position will work directly with the Executive Leadership to support FT Partners across functions, teams, and issues. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated interest and experience in brand optimization, marketing, internal and external communications, email marketing and social media.

FT is operating in a hybrid work from home model, three days in the office and two days from home. On the days that you are in the office, free lunch is provided!
Essential Functions:Â
- Provide input and analysis on existing marketing methods and systems and design and implement short and long term strategies to optimize these efforts
- Manage and refine contact management strategy
- Assist in the identification, review, selection and implementation of new 3rd party email marketing and social media management tools
- Create engagement metrics and dashboards and monitor engagement across various marketing channels to refine marketing strategies
- Manage and oversee all externally facing social media outlets and marketing channels and collaborate with leadership to execute marketing strategies
- Coordinate across the Firm to develop and implement a consistent communications strategy, helping to craft content to ensure a consistent brand narrative for all external and internal audiences
- Manage media relations, including both proactive and reactive outreach, thought leadership, conference and sponsorship management and agency management
- Responsible for reviewing and ensuring consistency in all marketing collateral, including website, intranet, and other marketing materials to drive brand recognition and engagement
- Draft, review and edit all executive leadership communication to deliver important company messaging in a consistent and compelling manner
- Assist in external marketing events to ensure content, marketing message and branding are coordinated with corporate marketing guidelines and goals
Basic Qualifications:Â
- Relevant years of marketing and/or communications experience required
- Experience in the financial industry preferred
- B.A. or B.S. required. A concentration in Marketing, Communications or Economics a plus
- Experience with marketing software, online tools and financial planning reports is ideal not required.
- Marketing using social media is a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, client focus and organizational skills
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to manage up to executive management
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Relevant experience in employment law
- Strong quantitative skills and ability to work with numbers
- Strong people skills with proven ability to build strong working relationships with internal clients at all levels of management and work on cross-functional teams on complex deals

- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, able to prepare high impact materials
