Marketing/Business Development Manager

· 7+ years of experience in a similar law firm position · Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment · Exceptional oral and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate complicated subject matter clearly; persuasive presentation skills; a talent for listening actively and well · Practical, focused and hands-on mindset; demonstrated resourcefulness and self-directed behavior · An understanding of the legal industry: market opportunities, competition, service offerings and competitive advantages—particularly in the New York and adjoining markets · Preferred Experience: event management· · Take an active role in the execution and follow-up of marketing & business development strategies · Know and promote the firm’s business; drive communications and visibility efforts, including events and outreach to publications; collaborate with attorneys in identifying thought leadership topics and opportunities · Manage preparation and submissions for industry rankings, awards, surveys, league tables, and other recognitions · Oversee the firm’s website and social media presence. · Assist with the planning and implementation of strategic sponsorships, conferences, and memberships · Drive coordination and planning of local events; work with attorneys to plan CLE content; develop targeted invitation lists to ensure key audience inclusion · Ensure quality: all marketing collateral, communications, and materials are consistent and current · Develop a marketing plan, including budget, optimal processes, and use of technology and resources · Report to the Chief Operating Officer Job Type: Full-time Pay: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid parental leave • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10004
