Master Carpenter/Jack of All Trades

POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Master Carpenter who is not only a seasoned expert in all aspects of carpentry but is also highly skilled across multiple trades. This is a lead-level position that requires the ability to take on entire renovation projects from start to finish—with the assistance of an apprentice—and execute them with precision, efficiency, and pride in workmanship. This is NOT a learn-as-you-go position. Candidates who lack experience in any of the listed required trades should NOT APPLY. We are a high-end residential renovation company, and our clients expect white-glove craftsmanship from beginning to end. --- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Full-scope management and execution of residential renovation projects Review job scope and blueprints, confirm measurements, plan project sequence Lead and work alongside apprentice to ensure timely completion of all phases Advanced rough and finish carpentry Framing, door and window installation, trim work, cabinetry, custom builds Tile work (floors and walls) Accurately install ceramic, porcelain, stone, and mosaic tile Waterproofing, layout, leveling, grouting, and clean finishing Plumbing (light to moderate residential work) Installation of shower bodies, vanities, toilets, sinks, bathtubs Ability to sweat pipes, install PEX, shutoffs, and fixture rough-ins/trim-outs Electrical (light to moderate residential work) Installing outlets, recessed lights, light fixtures, switches, basic wiring Familiarity with box placement, load considerations, and NEC compliance Project supervision and coordination Delegate tasks to apprentice, inspect quality at every phase Ensure cleanliness, organization, and client satisfaction throughout --- QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED): Minimum 10 years experience as a Master Carpenter Minimum 5 years of proven experience in tile, plumbing, and electrical work Must be fully capable of running entire residential renovation projects from start to finish Must be able to lead and train an apprentice while maintaining project momentum Must have own vehicle, valid ID, and full set of tools (carpentry, tiling, plumbing, and electrical) Must be reliable, punctual, professional, and able to represent our company on-site --- ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must know how to read architectural drawings and layout work accordingly Must know how to properly demo, prep, and execute each stage of a renovation Must have a high attention to detail and a clean, high-end finish standard Must be respectful of job site cleanliness, client property, and daily communication --- IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is a serious, high-responsibility position.
