Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, with a strong background in both commercial and industrial settings. This role requires proficiency in using various electrical tools, including ohmmeters and logic controllers, while adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. The Master Electrician will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on construction sites, ensuring safety and compliance throughout all projects. Duties • Lead and supervise electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols. • Install, maintain, and repair high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. • Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical components and troubleshooting problems. • Collaborate with construction teams to build electrical infrastructure according to project specifications. • Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and local building codes throughout all phases of work. • Provide training and mentorship to junior electricians on best practices and safety measures. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines. Qualifications • Valid Master Electrician license or equivalent certification. • Proven experience as a commercial electrician or industrial electrician with a strong understanding of high voltage systems. • Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in electrical systems. • Knowledge of NEC standards and local electrical codes is essential. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings effectively. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing electrical issues. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy equipment or working in confined spaces.
