MASTER TEACHERS & TEACHERS (SIGN ON BONUS - $500.00 after 90 days) Full Time hourly position $22 - $32 an hour (depending on education and experience). Taking unit'd (12 unitsREQUIRED) educators who are passionate about ECE and confident in their abilities. Position Description: Assumes responsibility for the development and education of children, modeling of developmentally appropriate curriculum and agency policies and procedures within their assigned classroom. Hours available: Fairwood Infants (6 weeks - walking) 1 Infant Master Teacher (8:45AM - 5:45PM or 9:00AM - 6:00PM) 1 Infant Assistant or Associate Teacher (8:45AM - 5:45PM or 9:00AM - 6:00PM) Toddlers (2 - 3 year olds) 1 Toddler Master Teacher (8:45AM - 5:45PM or 9:00AM - 6:00PM) 2 Toddler Assistants or Associate Teachers (8:45AM - 5:45PM or 9:00AM - 6:00PM) San Miguel Preschool (3 - 5 years old) 1 Preschool Master Teacher (7:30AM - 4:30PM or 8:00AM - 5:00PM) 1 Preschool Assistant or Associate Teacher (7:30AM - 4:30PM) Mornings in Preschool & Afternoons in School Age. School Age (Kinder - 5th grade) 1 School Age Master Teacher (12:00PM - 6:00PM or 2:00PM - 6:00PM) 1 School Age Assistant or Associate Teacher (12:00PM - 6:00PM or 2:00PM - 6:00PM) Floater Teachers NEEDED: 3 full time floater teachers needed to work between ALL SITES to cover absences! Hours for the position are 8:30AM - 5:30PM or 8:45AM - 5:45PM) "Must" have 12 "core" unitscompleted or associate teacher permit or higher. If no permit and 12 units, CYW can guide you to obtain the required permit through CTC, and you must apply within 30 days of employment. For the Master Teacher positions,you must have 24 ECE units, 16 General Education units, 6 more units in one area of specialization, and 2 more units in Adult Supervision. If you have a Master Teacher permit - great and a big plus, if not, you must be eligible and apply within the first 30 days of employment. For the Infant Master Teacher, if you have a permit, wonderful and a big plus; if not, you need the same requirements as the Preschool Master Teacher, plus the Infant and Toddler course completed To be considered, please share the location and schedule that suits you.
