Job Summary

Normandy Products is seeking material handlers. The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor the press continually for signs of malfunction and depletion of raw materials
• Train new press operators
• Perform press operator duties for scheduled breaks
• Remove scrap boxes from the presses when full and dump contents
• Assemble cardboard cartons using the pneumatic staple gun and tape gun
• Label and stack boxes
• Transport finished product from production to warehouse using pallet jack
• Keep machines fully stocked
• Scan raw materials to and from production areas
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Press operator experience a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically throughout the day

Compensation

• The starting pay rate for this position is $18.00/hour
