Position Overview We are seeking dynamic and passionatemiddle school mathto join our team. Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging and standards-based instruction • Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect student needs and curriculum goals • Establish a classroom culture that promotes learning, respect, and high expectations • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities • Assess and track student performance; provide feedback and intervention as needed • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership • Participate in professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives • Support school events, field trips, and community-building activities • Complete administrative responsibilities including attendance, grading, and lesson planning • Adhere to all school, district, and network policies and procedures Required Qualifications • Valid New Jersey CE, CEAS, or Standard teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) • Must pass a criminal history background check • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field Compensation & Benefits • Competitive salary range: $60,000– $80,000, commensurate with experience • Additional bonuses can include Signing, Performance, and Retention incentives- Max salary could be $110,000-$125,000 with bonuses • Comprehensive benefits package, including: • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Life insurance • NJ State Pension Plan • Flexible spending account (FSA) • Professional development support, including access to a lesson plan repository • Teacher referral program • Extended time off for the Thanksgiving and winter breaks Performance Evaluation Staff are evaluated under the Achieve NJ Teacher Evaluation system, which includes: • Teacher Practice • Student Achievement • Student Growth Percentiles (when applicable) Supervision • [For classroom-based roles]: Supervision of students, paraprofessionals, and volunteers Desired Skills & Attributes • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Passion for educational equity and high academic standards • Commitment to continuous professional growth • Ability to build strong relationships with students and families • Flexibility and a solutions-oriented mindset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Referral program • Retirement plan • Tuition reimbursement • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
