As a Technical Support Intern you will gain experience in a customer-facing leadership capacity. This role necessitates exceptional customer relationship management skills along with a solid technical grasp of the product/s they will support.
The Technical Support Intern is expected to adeptly manage conflicting priorities thrive under pressure and autonomously navigate tasks with minimal active guidance. The successful applicant should possess a basic understanding of IBM support development and service processes and deliveries.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Workload Management: Monitor and allocate incoming work to the Maximo support team according to severity product area and geography.
- Clear Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with both internal and external clients through spoken and written channels.
- Good Coordination Leadership & Organizational Skills: Good coordination and organizational abilities capable of working with diverse teams and multitasking within a team-based business network environment.
- Providing Excellent Client Service & Client Satisfaction: Personal commitment to pursuing client satisfaction and continuous improvement in the delivery of client problem resolution.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required with fluency in multiple languages considered advantageous.
- Currently pursuing a computing-related university degree with a track-record of academic success. Must plan to graduate at the end of 2026. It is possible that the internship will lead to a graduate role for the right candidate.
- Strong Interpersonal skills that enhance collaboration and relationship building while also managing dynamic workloads in an agile environment.
- Have initiative and passion to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills while embracing a growth mindset to assimilate diverse viewpoints.
- Must be amenable for a 1 year internship period in a fulltime capacity
- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle processes; including quality engineering principles.
